For occasional constipation relief, adults generally take one to two Dulcolax tablets (5 mg each) at bedtime. If you don’t experience relief within six to twelve hours, you may take an additional tablet. However, do not exceed a total of four tablets within 24 hours. This dosage applies to both the regular strength and bisacodyl tablets.
Dulcolax Suppositories
For faster relief, you can use Dulcolax suppositories. Adults usually use one suppository at bedtime. Relief typically occurs within 15 to 60 minutes. Do not exceed one suppository within a 24-hour period.
